Although a tractor is a relatively complex machine with various types and sizes, they all consist of three main parts: the engine, chassis, and electrical equipment, each of which is indispensable.
Engine
It is the device that generates power for the tractor, converting the thermal energy of fuel into mechanical energy to output power. Most agricultural tractors produced in our country use diesel engines.
Chassis
It is the device that transmits power in the tractor. Its function is to transfer the engine's power to the driving wheels and working devices to enable the tractor to move and perform mobile or stationary operations. This function is achieved through the coordinated cooperation of the transmission system, walking system, steering system, braking system, and working devices, which together form the tractor's frame and body. Therefore, the above four major systems and one major device are collectively referred to as the chassis. In other words, within the tractor as a whole, all systems and devices except the engine and electrical equipment are collectively called the tractor chassis.
Electrical Equipment
It is the device that ensures the tractor's electrical power supply. Its function is to provide lighting, safety signals, and engine starting.
